Currently serving as the Vice Chair of the Lubbock ​County Local Government Corporation and for the Lubbock County Expo Center board, Tim has played key roles in various organizations, including being the former Chair of Lubbock Economic Development/Market Lubbock and the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce. Tim is also the proud owner of Collins Tile, a local business that he runs with his wife, Ava.

As the Chair of Lubbock Entertainment and Performing Arts Association (LEPAA), now known as the Buddy Holly Hall, Tim ensured clear communication with the community at every step of the process.
